He became Certified Public Accountant in 1993. In 1998, he joined Sharrard, McGee as a Tax Supervisor and is now a Tax Manager. George has extensive experience in multiple tax areas including individual, partnership, corporate, and not-for-profit. He has represented clients in tax audits before the IRS and the North Carolina Department of Revenue on numerous occasions. He particularly enjoys tax research and has become proficient in using several tax research platforms. George graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and from the University of Maryland with a Masters of Arts in Economics. He took his accounting courses at Guilford College. George grew up in Hillsboro, Illinois and moved to Winston-Salem in 1985.
