Currently recruiting for 2 auditor positions as of July 27, 2018

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

  • Perform audit or review procedures.
  • Perform diversified accounting, auditing and tax assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager or director.
  • Participate in planning and scheduling client engagements.
  • Direct and instruct staff accountants in work to be performed and work paper review.
  • Determine the extent of test checking required in an audit and select the transactions to be tested.
  • Prepare and index work papers; perform various procedures established under GAAP to verify accuracy and validity of clients' financial matters.
  • Prepare complex business and individual tax returns.
  • Perform a broad range of accounting tasks.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a degree in accounting from an accredited 4 year college or university.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years audit experience in public accounting.
  • Have demonstrated experience managing client expectations.
  • Ability to be available for occasional overnight travel and sustain a heavy workload, including overtime, between Jan 1 and Apr 15 each year.
  • Have an active CPA license.

As a Staff Accountant, you will:

  • Perform audit or review procedures as assigned.
  • Reconcile accounts to control accounts.
  • Perform schedule computations of accruals, property and equipment, and calculate depreciation expense.
  • Assist in proofing financial statements, tax returns and other documents
  • Perform a broad range of accounting, auditing and tax-related tasks.
  • Prepare individual and business income tax returns.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a degree in accounting from an accredited 4 year college or university.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year audit experience in public accounting.
  • Ability to be available for occasional overnight travel and sustain a heavy workload, including overtime, between Jan 1 and Apr 15 each year.
  • CPA/CPA candidate
